Discovered 1996 July 21 by J. Tichá and M. Tichý at Kle.
 Johann Josef Zink (1842–1920) was a publisher who issued postcards and guides in South Bohemia. Interested in astronomy, he was a prolific amateur who drew planets and comets. His astronomical instruments and diaries were placed at the České Budějovice Observatory in 1937.
