Discovered 1997 December 21 by J. Tichá and M. Tichý at Kle.
 The International Year of Astronomy (IYA 2009) is a global effort initiated by the IAU and UNESCO to stimulate worldwide interest in astronomy under the central theme ``The Universe, Yours to Discover''. The IYA celebrates the 400th anniversary of the first use of an astronomical telescope.

The image of minor planet (58664) IYAMMIX = 1997 YA1

was taken on 1997 December 30 using 0.57-m f/5.2 reflector + CCD camera SBIG ST-8 of the Klet Observatory (South Bohemia, Czech Republic - http://www.klet.org) 
and is 60 seconds exposure. The minor planet is arrowed. The field of view is 16 to 10 arcminutes with north to the top and west to the right.
