Astrometry of Asteroids with USNO-SA1.0 Reference Star Catalog

Abstract. This paper describes astrometry of asteroids with new USNO-SA1.0 reference star catalog. The catalog is used for astrometry of asteroids and comets at Klet' Observatory since March 1997. Here we compare results of astrometry with this catalog and those with the Guide Star Catalog version 1.1. The USNO-SA1.0 catalog is an effective tool for astrometry of faint objects (magnitude in range 17 to 25 mag.) and for astrometry with small field of view.
